The swan family at the Kelpies.

This morning we got up and away very early to beat the heat. This was taken at quarter past seven with almost nobody else around. 
Looking closely, you will spot the resident swan family and their rapidly growing six cygnets.The early hours ploy paid off and we enjoyed a very pleasantly cool stroll before things got ridiculous.
By mid morning the mercury was rising past 20C and was still at 23 at 8.00pm. Poor Chloe is not enjoying the heat in her thick fur coat!
