Too hot for a walk?!

Hasn't it been scorchio today?

We went down to the beach at 7.30am and Ann went for a swim in the sea at 8am. It was mega hot, so even I had to keep diving into the sea for a little cool down. There must have been at least 40-50 people swimming at Porthgwidden Beach at 8am.

Loving this weather, but OMG, it's exhausting. We actually had to have an hours lie down on the bed late morning??!!

By this afternoon the temps were rising, but I hadn't had a toileting break since 8.30am, so Ann popped me into the car and took me down to the St Erth River so that I could go swimming.

We walked down the river to the bridge and then we turned around and walked back. I did loads of splish, splash, sploshing in the river, but I was pretty much exhausted by the time I got home.

The temp in the car when we left home was 32C and after an half hour play in the river at St Erth, when we returned to the car it was 41C.
Loving this weather, but it's a bit hot, hot, hot, isn't it????
