What lies beyond?

God it was hot today. I eventually dragged myself down to Dalemain Country Mansion. It’s my first visit of the year.

A few places offered a bit of shade but most of the gardens were in full sun. Just wandered about taking photos of the flowers and curios scattered around the garden.

Didn’t visit the lower garden which I prefer because it was so hot. I’ll go again when it’s cooler.

Obviously I partook of a coffee in the tearoom. Had some lunch back at the caravan and then did absolutely nothing. I’ve just had a lovely half hour sitting out now that the sun has gone behind the hills.
