Bird on a wire

Spent the evening with my chums Vince, Eloise, Chrissie and Badger plotting and planning potential projects for the Norwich Dandies, a collective of artists who create space where difference is accepted, encouraged and valued and I've been involved with them for about 18 months.

The next Dandie appearance is going to be in Cambridge on 7th September at a mental health awareness event 'Time for Change' but sadly I won't be taking part in that as I'll be in Tower Hamlets in London taking photos at a demonstration against the EDL (English Defence League).

This lovely thing was made by a friend of Eloise, and hangs from one of the ceilings in Eloise's house. The bird is suspended from the wire sculpture which in turn hangs from a hook. It took me a while to realise that the wire was in the shape of a person. Pretty clever.
