Stuck

Well at least someone was smiling today even if it was only my fan in the van. There is no aircon in the van so the boss got a fan for each van they are rechargeable so at least they try to blow some cooling air around . My blip shows it smiling away while it is working and me stuck in traffic due to roadworks. I didn't go out doing deliveries till mid morning as I only had 3 drops all fairly local and we was short staffed due to the boss been on holiday today and the new lad had sent a text to say he was not well so wouldn't be in so it only left me and Glen  in the branch . The 3 drops should have took me about 1&1/2 hours  but due to road works and then a road closed on the way back  I chose to go to avoid the roadworks  meant the 3 drops took 2&1/2 hours .
The rest of the was spent putting deliveries away and picking some orders and also loading the van for Monday for Dan so long as he is not sick as I am on holiday next week. The temperature on the car when I left work was 34C but did drop to 32C nearer home it was that hot I couldn't grip the steering wheel .
Going to visit Mum soon and then Rugby super league on TV Wigan V Huddersfield with celebrations before the game for the 1st knighthood in Rugby League former Wigan player Sir Billy Boston well deserved just a pity it has taken so many years for the sport to get a player recognised
