One on her own

Earlier this week, mum died unexpectedly. She was picking up nicely after her spell in hospital and was enjoying being in respite care at a local care home, where she knew and liked many of the staff. She had a good day on Monday and so it was a surprise on Tuesday morning to hear that she just hadn’t woken up. She was quite a character in many ways - definitely her own person - and will be missed by a lot of people.
My infrequent blipping is likely to be even more erratic for a while, so please bear with me for now
