Ready for the off…

I spent most of the morning packing for a holiday that doesn’t start for a day or two as V had decided to drive in two bursts up to Scotland, staying the night in York at a favourite hotel, The Talbot in Malton. Once he’d gone at about 12 I settled down to get some work done.  A productive day but as the sunshine settled in for the afternoon I was stuck on a long commissioner briefing, two hours with graphs and slides! Finally it finished and I went to read something and do a call from my hammock.  Unfortunately the signal there isn’t good so I had to give up and go back in. 

As the evening began I spent a long time watering all the pots and the raised beds leaving them to Rachel to water over whilst we’re away. 

Made a spectacular dinner of what was left in the fridge and then didn’t feel like going to bed so stayed up far too late.
