Barn finds.
One of my make shift photo studios was a small barn that the custom cart builder uses to store his cars during the winter months. It's also home to a number of engines, grills, bumpers, and nostalgic garage signs.
The truck is a 1947 Ford F-47 that was found in a Colorado barn, taken to Saskatchewan, and finally brought to Nova Scotia. The builder put a modern drivetrain, brakes and suspension under the untouched, sun-baked, patinaed body.
The model, Gillian, never posed for photography before. She was a natural, had an edgy look, and just enough tattoos and attitude to make a perfect pin-up. I hope for her sake, and mine, this pic makes it to the 2015 calendar!
