View From The Brain Melter
Today the Tobermory Lifeboat Crew had been called into action on two separate occasions so when it came to exercise night we stayed very local and didn't get much past the moorings in the bay.
Each of the crew had a turn at taking the boat off the birth and slaloming through the moorings before doing it all again in reverse and "parking up". I have very limited boat handling experience (hence the incorrect terminology being used) so when it was my turn I found it quite a daunting task even at the very slow speed that I took it at.
While everyone else was having their turn there was time for finding out how things work and for some of the crew to practice on the chart plotter, oh, and time for a couple of photos too :-)
By the time we came back in my brain was definitely going into meltdown and I was in need of a sit down and switch off.
