A day in the life

Favourite bowl

Another brilliant summers day, tomorrow we're promised rain and wind again, for the next four days. No idea to complain, just to use what there is to the best advantage.

Today, that meant a morning outdoors, with a bowl of newly picked strawberries at the strawberry fields on the other side of the road, served in my most beautiful bowl, a gift from my dear friend Janet (HarlingDarling).

With  both doors and a few windows open, the coolest place is indoors and I managed to get some rehearsing under hand as well. The evening was spent at a concert in a church some thirty kilometres south of here. The church decorations are from the early fifties, the music was mostly composed during the baroque era during the first half of 16 the sixteen hundreds.
