Work in Progress

Well you'll never guess where I was today !  Yes, I once again crossed the Tummel and made my way to the theatre. This time it was for the weekly "sketching" group. I had decided to work on my "tunnel picture" and made some progress with the tunnel itself. I need to add some glow around the lights, which should be relatively straightforward, and then the people, which will be less so. I think I will practice them on some other pieces of felt first. 

As always there was a lovely sense of companionship in the group with lots of chat, some of it but not all of art related. There was also a great buzz around the theatre with meetings going on, final rehearsals for the 39 Steps which opens tomorrow, and people in for refreshments. 

I went down for a swim earlier, meeting MB on the way down and then RR and RC at the carpark. We were rather surprised to find a "party" going on at the beach (see extra) not what we expected at 8.15.  It was a lovely morning for a swim and made it past the second pine (and back :-)).
