Purple(ish)

The Acanthus spinosus have shot up and flowered since the weekend rain. It was only after I had taken the photos that I realised they are also attracting hordes of pollinators. Many of the other flowers are too - some of the globe thistles have up to 5-6 bees on them at a time, and there were over a dozen white butterflies on the verbana.
