What did I do today?

Not much except the usual jobs and read. I rugged up and went outside to garden but it was 6° (feels like -4°). I decided with a light drizzle and wind it wouldn’t help my cold. I brought the bins in and have kept inside all day.

Oh I got on the indoor bike and did 10 minutes with no mishaps so I feel I can start peddling again.

The book is set in Jersey in WW2 during the occupation. War doesn’t help anyone except those who make the bombs. I wonder what I would do if I was in such a situation.
