Babysitting

I passed my first test today, babysitting - with Mr A there as mainly moral support - whilst L&L went out for dinner.  Their first time going out to dinner since EAJS was born, although they have been to a wedding, and this coming week they are away overnight at a concert whilst L's sister and mother do the honours. By the time they left at 8pm, she was quiet in her cot although not quite asleep. She settled after a little while and slept soundly until about 10.15pm when she stirred, needed a cuddle (but not a feed) and then went down again with her dummy. She stirred again shortly before 11pm as they were in the taxi coming back and L arrived just in time to take over the feed. She apparently went down again quite easily. I hope they had a better night than last night, after that.

Earlier, she was very active on the playmat, and before that we had a long walk around a crowded Edinburgh, using the opportunity to pop into my office where she sat on "the chair", had a feed and a change, and we were able to use the facilities in peace and quiet.

Tomorrow will be Leith time.
