Y a serenade for two

Well, I suppose I had to do it sooner or later. This is in the 'Fringe' zone in the High Street in Edinburgh. Complete chaos squeezed into a few hundred yards between North Bridge and George IV Bridge.

The guitar player and the accordionist are supposed to be a trio apparently, but the third member is likely to still be in bed with a hangover. The female being serenaded took it in her stride and even burst into song in response to the accordionist. A latter day Reneé and Renato? Perhaps not.

Her friend doesn't look too chuffed at not being picked, although I have my suspicions that they were thespians on a shopping break the way her friend belted out the song.

Back again tomorrow to see what other delights are on display - weather permitting.
