Spearmint

A short while ago I rescued a large pot with dead stuff in it which was on it's side in my late neighbours drive. so I thought well as no one wants it the pot could come in handy.  When I cut back the dead bits I saw some still had shoots on and when I touched them I could smell Mint, so I took a pic and put it in my plant finder and it was Spearmint. I have kept it watered and now it's rewarded me by lots of sprouting leaves.

After the usual dog walk and called in at the library to return  a book,  It was coffee time, then a few little jobs, After lunch lawn cut, some plants watered and dead headed. It was getting warmer so sat in the cool spot in the garden and had a read of my book.

Mark called tonight to pick up the mobility scooter his dad was  selling. Marks friend is having it, We had quite a laugh getting it up into his van up the ramps, in the end it was more brawn that got it in. He had his spaniel Brownie with him, He is such a live wire, he goes to work every day with Mark (who works in a garage) and everyone loves him. The cat disappeared, we found her under my chair. It's a recliner and she can get under the back and not be found.
She is going to wonder where the scooter has gone as when the garage is open she can usually be found on the seat fast asleep. She will be heart broken it's gone.
