Not Going Ape?

In our local park we have had a Go Ape trail in the trees for a few years. Just recently they erected this sculpture outside the reception point. 

What amused us was the Ape doesn't look very happy,  and in fact looks rather sad. Perhaps not the most encouraging thing to see as you pay £20 to risk your life (well perhaps not your life but it can be scary up in the trees).
