War of the Worlds

This sculpture is located at Patiti Point, overlooking the ocean.

It's a very, ahem, 'interesting' peice of art. I don't think it's overly popular with the locals. I think it looks a bit like a big triffid.

It also has a big sign on the base, saying 'security camera operating'. So, Big Brother is watching us.
