One Of those Examples...
… I refer to the sky.
Last week I was at a watercolour workshop and I was saying how often we (Himself and I) look at the sky and say how if you painted it exactly how it looks ‘now’, it just wouldn’t look real…. And the middle cloud with an almost sharp right angle illustrates my point perfectly. (Though it makes a rather dull blip).
We’ve been out to lunch today with some pretty unknown relatives of mine. They were at the Elderly Ones funeral and, unable to talk there, we arranged to meet up. What a lovely time we had! So much in common! Who knew?!
Then we stopped for an ice cream at a lovely dairy on the way back (just down the road from the photo) and I had ‘pistachio, white chocolate and pomegranate’, one ice cream not three, because they’d run out of hazelnut. We know how I feel about white chocolate (don’t start me) but my goodness it was serendipitous!
So now we’re sitting in the garden, wondering whether we shall want to eat in an hour or so… And if so, what?
Cheese and biscuits anyone?
