Early walk

In order to avoid the heat of the day I headed out early and got my 10k steps in by 8am.  I meandered along a new path that has opened up alongside some new housing at the far end of town.  The ducks were up early too, heading down to the water for an early morning swim.

As I was heading out at 6:30 I dithered about whether to pop the factor 50 on as it might have been overkill. I decided to play iit safe and lather it on just in case.  I was glad I did as the sun was really strong even at that time and am sure if I hadn’t worn it I would have been red rather brown later in the day.

Mum, Dad and I continued our week of eating out and headed to Fordmore Farm cafe.  My food was lovely - I had a nourish bowl - but it was anything but relaxing!  Every kid in the place was screaming or crying at top volume so we were glad to escape for some peace at the end.  One poor baby seemed really distressed - maybe the heat was too much for her as she was very tiny - probably only weeks old.

The rest of the day at home was much more peaceful, especially.since Leo and Ian are away.
