What a mess

We woke up to this sight this morning. We have no idea who the culprit is, but they have made a thoroughly good job of wrecking the lawn. This happened a few years ago and experts thought it was something digging for chafer bugs. They are rather big holes for birds so I guess it could be foxes.
Had lunch today with very old friends Doug and Angela. Both in their nineties now, life is a bit of a struggle, but they keep smiling.
