Flooring arrived ok this morning, and I have assembled both the chairs. John’s brother is coming over on Friday to help me assemble the shelving.

I bought the embroidered cushions (well the covers) in Luang Prabang, Laos in December 2000. I met a friend there for Christmas while I was in Vietnam with VSO. I love them, but the blue doesn’t really fit the rest of the house so they’d been stored away for many years.

Alongside some admin, laundry, a trip to the library and a swim it’s been another busy day. So now sat in the new studio for the first time with a cup of tea and a book.
