Woking

To see PY’s family in Woking. J&P were at the flat when we arrived, all trying to figure out how to put up a curtain rail. I kept out of the way. We had a nice day with a buffet lunch, and PY got some birthday gifts as we’d not seen them since. At one point, we wentfor a walk and PY and I tagged along. Although we’ve been to Woking a few times, I don’t recall seeing this statue before: this appears to be Sean Henry’s Lying Down

While we were in Woking, the doorbell camera alerted us to the carpenter’s return, who successfully managed to replace part of the door frame. The final bit of painting will need to happen early next week.
