Buttercup

B and I enjoyed a morning walk along the North Norfolk Coastal Footpath from Morston to Blakeney this morning.  The path was blissfully quiet on the way there, but rather busy on the way back.  A walk that's best done early.

I was rather taken with the name of this boat and thought it appropriate that there were some yellow wild flowers growing in front of it (although not buttercups).

On the theme of flowers, the sea lavender was in bloom and casting a gentle purple haze over the marsh.  I've added a photo in extras.  The tide was going out and these stranded boats were languishing in the mud at Blakeney (other extra).
