The birds are back!

We didn’t see many birds at our feeders while the Brood XIV 17 year cicadas were around in late May and June, since they were providing plenty of alternative sustenance for many of the birds, but now the cicadas are gone for another 17 years, the birds are back! I spent most of my day inside in the air conditioning, since the temperatures have been sneaking up again. I was busy tidying and doing some sorting in our bedroom, as well as my Duolingo and some knitting - a new prayer shawl. Meanwhile, R was doing a grand job pressure washing the patio
