A day in the Badlands
Uta, Sara and me went out for the Badlands in southeast Alberta.
During our 9 hour road trip with a rented car we came across astonishing landscapes like the Horseshoe Canyon, bazillions of mosquitos (that liked me very much), a 85 year old german lady who migrated to Canada in 1955, a snake that frightened us to dead, an old mine, a very small church, the Red Deer River, Gophers, oil pumps in the middle of nowhere, giant plastic dinosaurs, a ferry and Hoodoos.
At the end of the day we were tired but happy and finished the day at a Thai restaurant in Calgary. There we met James - a Thai who worked in Germany for 6 years.
