We visited Inverewe Gardens, minus the rain and midges that we had the last time about 13 years ago, and had a great stroll about and some lunch. Even H enjoyed the kids quiz trail.

Then we tried out a local market, and were all about to go home when we spotted a soft tyre. The upside was this meant that we spent the afternoon in Gairloch getting a tyre change.

The new museum is really good, and built from a nuclear blast shelter. What more could you want?! OK, it has good cakes too.
