Unintended blip

Last night I was hoping to get some shots of the moon but only managed to take 3 before the clouds put an end to that plan. Although it was not the greatest shot, I quite liked one of them which also had the silhouette of some leaves in it and intended to blip it today. This was still my intention when I got home from walking one of the dogs from the sanctuary this afternoon. It wasn't until I looked at this photo that I'd taken during the walk with Stallone with the compact that I decided not to blip the moon.

There was some great news at the sanctuary this afternoon. Only a few days after Brutus, one of my favourite dogs at the sanctuary was adopted, Job, who's been another of my favourite walking companions, has gone to what I hope will be his forever home today. He was a great little character and I shall miss walking him heaps but at the same time I couldn't be more happy for him.

Many thanks for all the comments and stars on my moth blip from yesterday. The little moth was still on my courtyard today but in a different spot where it had been joined by another one like it.
