Butterflies

Aplenty, they were, on another morning walk.   This was the only tortoiseshell that we saw but there were Skippers, Gatekeepers, Meadow Browns and darker ones that I didn't get a close look at, perhaps Ringlets.   A little warmer today as another heatwave creeps west but still pleasant here.

Late morning I picked up a delivery of clay from P's and dropped it at pottery before lunchtime.   The afternoon a mix of tennis, cycling- both of the armchair variety -  and working in the garden, the latter mostly.   Off to singing now, blipping early for a change.
