Beynac from Le Dordogne

As many of you know I have a deep seated fear of water and drowning yet I agreed for the 4th time to canoe down the Dordogne. I agreed because it is very low this year but I still had a few ‘moments’.

We just did 16 km this year - possibly 15 and 3/4 too many for me, from Vitrac to Beynac. When I could open my eyes it looked lovely , and I did relax a little bit and enjoy some of it!

Very tired tonight but an enjoyable day in a strange way. I feel quite proud of my self facing my fears and the sight are spectacular.

Hoping for a more sedate day tomorrow!
