Peel Monument

Another hot day again with a few miles driving in the van. 1st thing the new lad went out to do a local delivery to Wragby and then when he returned I jumped in the van once loaded and headed off on a journey to a little town called Dronfield  which is south of Sheffield to pick up 3 basins and a couple of other bits for different customer orders . When leaving the depot I came across this structure in the middle of the road so managed to grab a quick shot on my mobile before pulling off again.
The structure is a tribute to Sir Robert Peel and is a tribute to commemorate his repeal of the corn laws in 1846 . It was built in 1854 out of Gritstone .
Back to Lincoln dropping off the 3 urgent basins and some other items at the customers offices so they can get the job sorted tomorrow .
Great news the new air fryer  has been delivered today so I will get that set up soon and try it out at tea time. A chilled rest of the evening will probably watch some more Reacher just about to start season 3
