The Lions Sleep Tonight At Half Price

Today's image was taken on a quick trip to some nearby shops for much needed provisions - o.k, mostly beer.
I've photographed this beds shop window before for its rather eccentric displays of beds, headboards, mattresses, seemingly permanently advertised half price sale and artwork - on the previous occasion it was housing a Freddy Mercury portrait and this time it's a couple of multi-coloured lions! It's even a partial self-portrait as you can see my reflection snapping away with my head obscured by a label.
As on many occasions on my blip journal this scene immediately made me think of a song - in this instance The Lion Sleeps Tonight by Tight Fit. I've tagged below what must be one of the most gloriously kitsch pop videos of the 80's!
