Texas Windmill

Driving around West Texas, you can still see farms and ranches with working windmills out in the pasture pumping water for thirsty crops and cattle. It's a part of Texas nostalgia that I hope never completely disappears.

This particular windmill? Oh, it actually belongs to one of our local real estate developers. And it's sitting just beyond the parking lot of one of our local Wal Marts.


Mmmm.....I guess that kind of ruins it a little bit, doesn't it?


You know, on second thought, forget I said anything about Wal Mart.
