Monkey nuts

Another rest day today.  I was all set to go and sit in my sun lounger in the back garden again, when the neighbours behind started up a big bonfire.  Bugger.  Undeterred, I set up in the front garden instead, and had a lovely lounge out there with my gardening magazine - and with a cup of tea delivered to me by Tim.  It was another lovely sunny day, albeit with a cool breeze and the odd cloud drifting across the sun, keeping me cool enough.

Caught up on a few laptoppy bits in the afternoon, and had more of a rest.  (And Tim gave the jackdaws their daily dose of monkey nuts.)  I cooked us our usual salmon stir fry in the evening, to try and remind us it was Friday.  Been ever so confused about what day it is the whole time I've been off work!

An exciting discovery today - I checked the trail camera in our back garden and saw that we've had a hedgehog visiting.  My life is complete! :)
