Lunch out

Lots of rain today.
But with friends visiting we decided to head in to Edinburgh anyway. I was treated to lunch at a lovely Vietnamese restaurant. Delicious food - I will return.
We walked across town with quick arty dips in to the Talbot Rice gallery and the Royal Scottish Academy, tea in the cafe and then to the Filmhouse. The cinema has just reopened after looking like it was finished just a few years ago. A rescue mission has brought it back to life and it’s looking bright and new. We saw My Favourite Cake -quirky, sad and in a very interesting setting (Tehran). But can’t really recommend it!
