One Garden
A beautiful day to finally go to "The One Garden" in Brighton.
So I set off at 9am to catch a Bus at 9.30am; I waited & it arrived a few minutes late/
I asked which Stop I needed to get off, so when I got there I was told to walk under the Underpass & I'd be there. NO!
It wasn't as easy as that; No signage to show me the way, I was in the University Complex with paths going every which way.
3rd path lucky on my way down to the Stanmer Park as I turned on my WiFi to know the way; I saw Stanmer Park Lodge sign, but no sign for the One Garden, so I continued to walk past The Lodges until I met a young Man on his way to the University; I asked him the way & he checked on his phone & I should have gone in where the Lodges are, he walked me back & we went our separate ways.
Just inside the gates I found the toilets... PHEW! I mean it's 12noon now, so 3 hours since I left home.
Then I set off to find The One Garden.... still no signage.
I ended up in the Woods up high above where I should have been; Unbelieveable that there are no Signs anywhere to show you the way if you don't know the area.
I was fairly tired by the time I got to the One Garden & hungry, but once again no food I could eat; it advertised a Kitchen so I expected good food.
They were nice in there & cooked some more Vegan Sausage Rolls as they'd run out; they had Banana & Chocolate Chip Cake, but I'm allergic to Chocolate.
I ended up with a Packet of Crisps & a Vegan Sausage Roll once cooked; not quite what I was hoping for.
Afterwards I looked around the Garden which I would recommend; its very pretty.
Leaving the Garden theres a Path straight back to the entrance, but still no signage; I just followed others in the hope I was going the right way.
At the entrance I asked about buses & it was suggested I caught a Bus into Brighton & then from there the quick Bus back to Eastbourne & that's what I did & was very grateful to be home with my daughter cooking dinner. :)
