Finally

Finished the ironing, and I like ironing but three weeks of washing to iron over three days was enough. Met daughter and grandson in town for something to eat and a play. He brought his ball to kick around with Grandy, as he calls hubby. The three of us were playing football and daughter went off to pick something up, such fun. She just got back and it absolutely poured down, bouncing off the pavement heavy rain. We got wet, dried in the sun, went to Oxfam book shop and then got wet again on the way home.
Managed to pick up a couple of books on my list.
Vacuumed and out for a walk with Hetty.
Packed a bag to head north tomorrow, short trip to check cottage OK.
Cooked dinner and had a glass of red.
