White to Black

I made this shelf a little while ago. I had got as far as putting a primer undercoat in white on.

Looking around for unfinished jobs I spotted this had not been finished and had the thought of painting it black. I of course being a good husband, asked my wife who said she couldn't tell until she saw it. Of course.

Clever clogs as I can sometimes be decides to take a photo with my iPhone. Pop it into Photoshop and, with the help of a mask and an adjustment layer turn the white frame to black!

My wife says yes that looks nice. So out comes the paint. Might need a couple of coats to hide the white though.
