Rains
Its been a long day today and its not done. Since I don't know when I'll ne going up to bed, I thought I'd post this now.
We had church this morning, and got a lift with Jeanine. Her husband, Reinier, is away so she had space in her car for us. Little Man and I ended up spending the entire service in the under-4s room. I'd volunteered to look after the little ones. It was chaos, again. One of the babies cried for the first half hour after being dropped off, so we had to get her mother. Little Man was very clingy, so I was trying to keep him happy and look after the other kids.
We then came and I continued with the packing, with a brief respite to watch the British Grand Prix at Silverstone. It was another good race, with a lot of drama, due to the weather. I really enjoyed it. Little Man got covered in mud during a short excursion into the garden, so I had to put him in the bath before we had dinner.
My dad called to blessing Little Man before I took him up to bed. He's tired and has gone down without a fuss, for which I'm grateful. Now that the packing is done, save for Little Man's white noise machine, I need to tidy the house up, so it doesn't look like a domb has gone off when my friends come round to water the plants for me whilst I'm away.
It's been raining almost all day and I'm just hoping that there will be no rain tomorrow when we leave for the station.
