Fetcham & Bookham Repair Café

A really excellent institution whose mission is save things gong to landfill. I told all about my visit yesterday. This blip is of the cycle repair and knife sharpening team in action. They were happy for me to take a photo so long as it didn't show their faces. This morning my cleaner came (she comes once every 2 or 3 weeks which is perfect and all I need). She goes through the house like a whirling dervish and everything is now (briefly) as clean as a sparkle! I've been into Leatherhead to return a couple of things to one of the charity shops, drop some old spectacles into Specsavers recycling box and pick up a few provision. Next I anticipate (fingers crossed) meeting a lady who is selling some Lego. And then it will be back to paperwork
