Bird III - Lauren - the flight

Since taking the bird dance shots of Charlotte I really wanted some more dance works. Lauren, whom I have taken before is not only my fantastic back massage therapist but also a dancer and dance teacher having trained at Laban. I had explained about the bird idea and she agreed to help.

I only can fit a small backdrop in the room so the shots needed to be taken with extreme care to allow Lauren to fit completely on the backdrop. i was then going to crop these and edit them to extend the backdrop (I AM going to do some of this for the gallery) but actually for a taken shot this pleases me more. I love the fact that the bird is pinned to the card...then the room expands out from this.

The headdress was made mostly when sitting in a traffic jam on the m5 back from Weston super mare. it took a lovely 6 hours to get home so at least the 3 that i sat in traffic jams didn't go to waste...
