A First Class lounge on RMS Titanic

Well, not quite, it's a small mock up which is part of Stan Fraser's charming Titanic Museum in Inverness, Scotland. Stan has built a 1:10 model of the ship in his back garden, and has created a nautical museum around it. (See my blip of 8th April, 2012, or go to www.titanicinverness.com)

It's the Parisian Lounge, Stan tells me. He cheerily makes coffee for visitors here. When I talked to him today, Stan was busy constructing a full scale replica of the 'Buckie Drifter', an old fishing boat with a big funnel. It will take him a few months, he says. Of course some people think he's eccentric, or even mad. We know better.
