Gateway...

to the Dark Tower...found ten minutes east of my house if you walk slowly and carefully in a roundabout sort of way, through the marshes of the dead, the bog of eternal stench and under the bridge of no return...this beckons and leads you down a dark and gnarled forest path, alongside the bottomless creek next to which the dark tower stands.

Silent, abandoned, evil, big.
