"Wow, it's cold in here"

The wind today meant it was really cold in the garden but this robin was in need of a wash after raising a brood of two.  He and his wife are both quite thin now after all their work. I found one of their empty, weeny brown egg shells under my apple tree - well away from their nest but it was so fragile it fell to pieces in my hand.
