John Dory

A fine driftwood sculpture by Hugh Maxwell which has pride of place in the entrance vestibule to 'The Dory' in Pittenweem.

A John Dory is not the most beautiful fish but it is very expensive to buy and quite delicious to eat ..... so says Mr Google!

Very warm today but also very windy. After taking a bootload of cotoneaster pruning to the tip in Pittenweem we headed down to the harbour .... no possibility of any boat reflections today.
