RED!

SATURDAY

This day of the week always makes me think of:

Saturday, Saturday, Saturday is Tiswas Day,
Saturday, Saturday...
Saturday is Tiswas, never a day to miss 'cause, Saturday is Tiswas day!


You probably have to me as old as me to know what the heck I am banging on about, and British, but never mind. It's just what pops into my baffled noggin when I think of Saturday.

What I though of when I saw this plant was fire. It's such a vibrant red I spotted it from 500yds away. Of course, with my aging eyes it was just a splodge of colour, but I knew even before I could tell what it was that I needed to photograph it.

This isn't edited by the way- well, unless you count converting from Raw to jpeg- but how it looked and how the camera saw it. How can it be so vibrant? It beggars belief.

Anyway, nothing has ever shouted "Red!" quite as loudly at me ever before.
