Uniform

Lots of new school uniform came today so the inevitable try on had to be endured by the small, ginger one, I managed not to cry, neither because he is my baby and i don't know how we got here so fast, or because different shop's sizings are so arbitrary and frustrating. A pair of age 11 Tesco PE shorts are so big he could use them if he ever runs away to the circus to become a clown.

In other news there was much lounging and reading of trashy novels and a tiny amount of housework (me), earning of honest crusts (poor, poor the Big Bloke), watching of Dr Who and Outnumbered reruns (Gingy) and, surprise surprise, cricket (the son who doesn't seem to live here anymore). So much wonderful ho hum in other words.
