Rippled sky

This was the sky at 8 am taken from our garden. I thought it was pretty amazing with the amount of rippled cloud and the sun trying to break through.

We are in the process of cleaning the paving slabs in the garden with our new Karcher. It seems really good and about half the garden got done before lunch. We took it in turns, but hubby did more than I did. I have small hands and found that holding the trigger switch in (very like on a petrol pump holster) was hurting my hand quite a lot. We both got splattered with mud and water and had to shower our legs down before lunch!! It's an ideal day though - sunny but not too hot. We will resume the cleaning in the late afternoon because hubby is concerned about the noise during the afternoon if people are wanting to sit outside after lunch. He wants to do some other gardening in between too. I may pop out to the local shops as I could probably do with some walking exercise. Hope the weather is nice where you are as well.

By the way, my idea of picking blackberries failed - none of them are ripe at the moment, which is weird because the week before last there seemed to be quite a few ripe ones. I can only think that the cooler weather last week has set them back. There's loads there, but obviously it will take time for them to be ready for picking.
