Hummingbird hawkmoth and other things

This morning as well as the usual butterflies I saw this hummingbird hawkmoth feeding on the flowers. Its wings were moving so fast.
Later I met B at Preston Bagot and we walked the dogs along the canal to Wooten wawen. We stopped for a snack and then headed off home. We saw two herons, lots of meadow brown butterflies and some small fish. Warm again today and with a strong breeze. See a couple of photos from our canal walk in extras.
