Trout fishing

I had a wander down by the river this morning after going to the Post Office. This is the first time I have seen anyone fishing the river. His friend on the bank said he was hoping to catch trout. It is French conversation this afternoon and I have found some good listening exercises online to use, short bursts of French spoken at normal speed in various contexts. Many in the class complain the French speak too fast. I tell them they hear too slowly!
